I would like to take this opportunity to thank you (Amber Konikow) for your presentation at St. John School this afternoon. (She) had a most captive audience in the children and the adults in the room. It’s a great thing to have the opportunity to expose our children not only to a female boxer and national champion, but to the possibilities that are available to them. ‘The biggest obstacle to realizing your dreams is usually your own demons’ is an important message for everyone at all stages of life and we can never hear it enough.
